Checkendon - St Peter St Paul church
This church was the family church for Albert Tobitt and his family while they lived at Neals
farm. I found the Langtree website listed below. This is a wonderful site that tells the
history of the church and all the important points to it.
One in particular point is the bells. The bell has an engraving on it that links our family to
this church.

G T Abby, H Pope and A Tobbit Churchwardens. Glory to God in the Highest
though the Tobbit name looks to be a mis spelling, it has to be Albert Tobitt. With the year
listed, the name and the close proximity to Neals Farm it is too much a coincidence.
